Managing A Multi-Generational Workforce | By the CFO Leadership Council – Houston Chapter

December 5, 2017 @ 8:00 am - 10:00 am

A Baby Boomer, a Gen Xer and a Millennial walk into a room. It’s not the setup for a joke; it’s a challenging reality that workforce managers face every day. Different mindsets, communication styles, and age groups can create a combustible mixture, especially when aggravated by new technology and unique working styles in a constantly-changing environment. Whether your workers are competitive old-schoolers who believe in paying dues or younger Millennials who thrive on teamwork and feedback, the key is addressing and taking advantage of all the skill sets and expectations in front of you.
Join us for “Managing a Multigenerational Workforce,” where our panel of experts will share how they:
Experiment with mixed-age teams and reverse-mentoring programs that enable older, experienced workers to interact with and learn from younger hires.
Develop incentive plans that reflect where your employees are in their lives.
Leverage your young workforce’s expertise.
Understand the characteristics of each generation’s life path.

Who Should Attend
CFOs and other senior finance executives interested in maintaining a strong culture of ethics within their organization.

Learning Objectives
Understand the needs and expectations of every generation
Learn how to motivate different generations

Harness the talent of each generation
